About Escape:
 
"Escape" is a Dallas based band performing a music tribute to the 80's arena rock super group, "Journey". 

Escape has been performing all over the DFW metroplex to packed venues where the patrons love to sing along and dance to the timeless music of Journey.

Some of the cities Escape has performed in include Dallas, Ft.Worth, Houston, Corpus Christi and Waco.

The band consists of veteran musicians who love performing the music of Journey as accurately as possible while bringing a dynamic high energy presentation to every show.

Our goal is to get people off their chairs to sing along and dance to the music. Journey's music is very much a positive message and our show is all about having a fun time for everyone attending.		   Demographic Reach:
 
Unlike other bands the music of Journey is truly ageless. At a typical Escape show you'll find both young and old having a great time.

It's rare to find a band that can get the attention of such a wide demographic. The ladies love the ballads, the guys love the rockers, everyone loves to sing along and dance to every song!

Bookings:
Escape is available to play at clubs, concerts, corporate events, private parties, etc.

We prefer Friday or Saturday bookings, but are open to discussing shows for other days if needed.

When possible we prefer to be booked anywhere from 1-2 (or more) months ahead of time. This gives us enough time to help promote the show through our websites and prepare any additional needs for the show.

   Show Performance:
 
Escape can perform anywhere from 1 to 3 hour shows. Escape brings state of the art professional equipment and when needed we can provide sound man/pa and professional lighting.

Depending on the budget for the show, we can also provide special fx such as fog, lasers, etc. These options are always available depending on your show needs.

On September 6th, 1983, the multi-platinum rock band Journey performed what was to be their last ever show as the lineup that would go on to eventually sell over 55 million albums and spawn such hits as "Don't Stop Believin'," "Open Arms," and "Separate Ways."

Enter "Escape", the Dallas Journey Tribute Band.

Comprised of music veterans sharing a lifelong love and respect for the music of Journey, Escape recreates the music and energy of a live Journey show.

Vocalist  Terry "Perry" Murphy pays homage to a lifelong idol with a phrasing and range that has drawn obvious comparisons his entire career. A dynamic showman, Terry is at home on the stage, drawing the audience into his world and making no excuses for his dead-on interpretations of the classics.

Guitarist Johnny Campos pays tribute to Neal Schon's renowned speed and soul.

Pianist/keyboard artist David Curtis brings his own interpretation of Jonathan Cain and Gregg Rolie's stunning sonic attack.

"Clark" Kent Matthew (drums) and "Militia"Mike Heup (bass) recreate the Smith/Vallory combination that locked down Journey's bottom end and provides the pulse that drives the music.
